As some frequent readers might recall, a certain Anthony Langston had a change of position in November 2011. However, his job has been completed and today marks the return of Mr. Langston to the Marketing department ? home sweet home. http://www.Plumbworld.co.uk
Guess who's back, back again...
Evesham, Worcestershire (PRWEB UK) 21 May 2012
It has been a long time coming, but an inevitable move nonetheless. Ant has finally completed what he set out to do and is returning to the Marketing department as of today.
Plumbworld, one of the UK?s largest retailers of bathrooms has a strong belief that employing people with transferable skills is one of the best decisions an employer can make. This has enabled Plumbworld to shuffle around staff within the business to take on different roles when needed. The upside of this is that there is no need to go through the recruitment process every time a new role is required; this saves countless amounts of time and money every year.
Ant was the pick of the bunch when the role opened up as a returns manager; due to his 100% commitment and unwavering effort he constantly put in, no matter what the task was ? he was the ideal candidate. However, dealing with returned shower kits and other plumbing equipment all day didn?t prove enough of a challenge. Ant streamlined the processes and oversaw the creation of a dedicated returns system along with Andy B and now the system is both efficient and profitable.
As this job has essentially been ?completed?, Ant is happily returning to where he belongs, in the land of air-conditioning and internet marketing. The current marketing boys had a lot to say about this fantastic retro-marketer returning...
Scott Morris, Marketing Manager was first to lay into Mr. Langston. ?We always knew he?d come back to the ?marketing ark?, although he excels in any environment, marketing is where his home is. In fact, we?ve made him a nest to come back to, a couple of twigs, a small bird for a friend and an egg. But really, I?m overjoyed to have Ant back, we were a couple for over a year before he left me; I can?t wait to have someone back to optimise our large range of shower enclosures and make me coffee.?
James Cook, another member of the Marketing squad was equally happy toon the return. ?He can finally drink from the Marketing water supply without getting nasty looks ? this will probably be the biggest benefit of all. Joking aside, he showed me the ropes for a lot of things when I first started and was extremely easy to get along with and work with also ? it will be a great boost to get him back on the Marketing team, doing what he loves most!?
Ant can now put his smart clothes and marketing shoes back on, as he steps into the role of a Web Marketing Co-ordinator.
